An accessible website is a website that allows people with disabilities and older people to surf with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as surfers.
About 20 to 25 percent of the population encounters difficulties using the Internet and may benefit from more accessible Internet content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by the Microsoft company.
We believe in and work for equal opportunities in the Internet space for those with various disabilities and/or who use assistive technologies to use a computer.
Accessible site character
The “Accessible Site” label is an initiative of the “Access Israel” association and the Israel Internet Association. The sign is placed on websites that have made the necessary adjustments to make them accessible to people with disabilities.
The purpose of placing the symbol is to promote public awareness of Internet accessibility and to inform the website surfers about its level of accessibility.
This site complies with the requirements of the regulations on equal rights for people with disabilities (service accessibility adjustments), 2013.
The website complies with the recommendations of the Israeli standard (TI 5568) for content accessibility on the Internet at level AA and the recommendations of the WCAG2.0 document by the W3C organization.
It is also optimized for display in common browsers and for use on the cell phone.
Strict accessibility adjustments have been made to this site, including, among other things, semantic and informative implementation for assistive technologies, determining navigation and operation with a keyboard only according to the recommendations of the International Web Standards Organization (W3C), color adjustments, as well as adding auxiliary labels and instructions in the forms for the benefit of all surfers.
